We realized very quickly that you can’t just go, go, and go with a trip like this. Today we took it very easy. God knew what he was doing when he rested on the 7th day!😁

We spent the afternoon traveling through Custer State Park again. This time, we didn’t take the dogs so we could get out and explore. The scenery is breathtaking, and we could see Mount Rushmore in the distance from many places.

This time on the wildlife loop, we didn’t see as many animals, so I guess the last time we went- around sunset- was a good time to go after all. We did see a buffalo herd though, and it was amazing to see!

Other than that, we played cards, ate in the camper, and watched a really heartwarming movie on Netflix starring Dennis Quaid called, The Long Game.

Tomorrow, we check out and head to Cody, Wyoming and Yellowstone!
