From Glacier, Montana to Bryce Canyon, Utah- SO Different, Both BEAUTIFUL!

On day 16, we left Rigby, Idaho and took another LONG drive to get to Bryce Canyon. The scenery slowly changed to red hues. Glacier was amazing, but Bryce has been beautiful in a different way. We haven’t explored the park yet, but from what I’ve seen so far, I’m so excited to see it.

We didn’t stop again on the way except for gas. Salt Lake City was huge, with 5-6 lanes of traffic- not fun with a trailer. We left at 9:30 am and arrived in Bryce at about 6:30 pm. We didn’t unhitch the truck in Rigby, Idaho the night before, so that made it easier to get an early start.

The gas is tricky in Utah and Idaho. They advertise $3.18, but that’s for 85 octane, and our truck can’t use that. Then, the 87 octane we use is $3.89- $4.09…

The driving wasn’t easy again. (What we did in 2 days of driving, I would recommend making it 3 days.) There was either busy traffic or uphill twists and turns.

The mountains slowly changed to the red rock the closer we got to Bryce Canyon.

The campground we are at is definitely the best one yet! It’s called Bryce Pioneer RV Village. It was only $55 a night and has a pool, hot tub, restaurant, live country music nightly, a large fire pit, a gym, and a gift shop. The hot tub was incredible after 2 days of driving, and we sat in it for quite awhile. It’s in a cute town too.

We are excited to explore Bryce Canyon next!
