On day 20, we drove from Zion in Utah to Williams, Arizona. It took us about 6.5 hours. We’re now on Pacific time and 3 hours behind home. Once we got set up at the campground, we drove 10 minutes to downtown Williams. It’s a town that grew out of the Route 66 traffic. We had fun walking around and seeing the local souvenirs in the shops. Many of the buildings date back to the 1920s. The town is filled with neon and looks very cool at night.

When we got back, I prepped dinner for tomorrow. I’m trying the slow cooker in the camper for the first time with some pasta fagiolo.
We are about 58 minutes from the south rim of the Grand Canyon. We plan to see it tomorrow IF we have the energy for more driving. We’ve been to the Grand Canton before and …to be honest, we are getting a little National Parked out…😆 We will see…
We planned on trying Planet Fitnesses on this trip, but we’ve only seen ONE since the one we went to in Rapid City, South Dakota. When we did see the other one, we were en route with the camper hooked, it had a tiny parking lot, and we had the dogs, so we couldn’t even stop for a quick massage. We’ve been getting a lot of exercise though with all of the walking in the parks.
We are staying at the closest KOA to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. All of the closer RV parks were booked. It was only $64 a night, and it has a pool and a hot tub. Maybe we’ll just take a day off tomorrow and lay by the pool. 😆
