When you’re on an extended roadtrip, every day can’t be a sightseeing vacation day. Real life catches up to you -even on vacation. 😆

We used day 27 to do laundry, plan our next week of travel, do a major cleaning of the truck, do a MAJOR cleaning of the camper, work on our downsized house hunting, plan out our meals, and do our grocery shopping.

We did take a break to eat lunch at a highly recommended Mexican restaurant, Si Senor (I can’t figure out how to add accent marks or tildes, and the Spanish teacher in me is cringing…🤦‍♀️). The food was delicious. The last Mexican food we had was delicious too-/ or maybe I just love all Mexican food?🤷‍♀️

We also took the dogs on a walk to the campground’s dog park and let them play.

Tomorrow, we plan to get halfway between here (Alamogordo, NM) and Waco, Texas. I want to see all of Joanna Gaines’s empire there. More driving!🤦‍♀️
