Today we drove from Surfside, Texas to Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

We drove for about 7 hours. We are staying at the KOA for $67 after tax and the KOA membership discount. It has a pool and hot tub and is very nice.

By the time we got set up, it was time to watch the Steelers in their first preseason game, so we enjoyed watching them!

We are still grieving the loss of our dog, Bear, who was family, and we lost suddenly just yesterday. Today, I’m celebrating his adventure with us. I wish I would have taken less scenery pictures and more pictures of him enjoying it!
