We started Day 37 with a trip to Goodwill. This is our “secret” way to get souvenirs cheap. Jim found a Mississippi shirt, but I wasn’t as successful this time (I did very well in Waco though!)

Goodwill was right next door to the Planet Fitness, so we were able to get in a work out. We did the 30 minute circuit training and then 30 relaxing minutes in the massage chairs.

On the way back from the gym, we stopped and got some groceries items that we needed and the ingredients to make some soup in the crockpot.

We spent the evening at the Beau Rivage Casino. There are 10 casinos in Biloxi. We chose Beau Rivage because it was the largest one that was close to our RV Park—just 10 minutes away. Beau Rivage is an MGM Casino and right on the ocean. They have a poker room (with a waiting list), many other card game tables, a sports book room with very large TVs, live music, video poker, a buffet, a cafeteria, and many slot machines. They did have one smoke free slot machine room, but there was a thick smoke smell throughout the entire casino. The casino has a very beautiful hotel attached to it. Parking was free with a large attached parking garage. We had a lot of fun! We won some money…then lost it…but it was a fun evening!

That was the longest we had left Zelda alone. We were worried about her, but she did great!

Tomorrow, we check out and backtrack to New Orleans. We are picking up my sister-in-law at the New Orleans Airport. Once we pick her up, we will be heading towards Pensacola, Florida where we will be meeting up with some more family there. My sister-in-law is currently undergoing chemotherapy, and she’s going to get some much deserved relaxation and rejuvenation on the beach of Florida with us!❤️
