We absolutely LOVED the Greek island of Mykonos. We explored it on our own from the our cruise ship, the Norwegian Dawn.
This port is nice because it doesn’t require crazy transportation to get there- just hop on the Sea Bus once you get off of the ship. You can walk to the main town, but the Sea Bus is just a few dollars, and it’s much faster.

We explored the island in our own and really enjoyed it. The streets are narrow, colorful, and beautiful and were my favorite part of the island. We went at the end of October and there weren’t many people, so it was quiet and serene through the streets.

We sat and had Greek coffee overlooking the water and taking in the beautiful scenery.

I loved visiting with all of the stray cats!

We walked to the famous windmills. They were an easy walk from the Sea Bus stop. They were beautiful and free to see.

We explored the shops and cafes of “Little Venice” and enjoyed the atmosphere of the island before ending our day. The island of Mykonos is easy to get around, has great character, and is fun to explore!
